Why can't I take pictures underwater with the lens protector LP-T01 attached?
The semicircle protector LP-T01 works like the lens when you take pictures underwater with the LP-T01 attached. The camera cannot focus because the focal length changes.
Can I take pictures without the lens protector?
Although you can take pictures without the lens protector, make sure to attach either one to protect the lens. If you take pictures underwater without the underwater protector, the camera cannot focus because the focal length changes.
Can I attach other brand accessories for action cameras to the mount coupling?
You can attach commercially available accessories to the mount coupling, but these accessories have not been tested on how well they work.
What should I do when the lens (protector) is fogged up?
Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation on and inside the camera. Turn the power off and leave the camera until it is dry and ready for shooting.
The protectors may fog when water drops enter inside the lens protector or underwater protector. Gently wipe the protectors with a soft lint-free cloth.
How wide is the shooting range (angle of view)?
The angle of view in the standard wide mode shooting is 204 degrees (diagonal line). In the underwater shooting mode, the angle of view is set at 156 degrees for land use, and 94 degrees for underwater use. The angle of view for movie shooting becomes narrower when the image stabilizer is set to ON (161°, 126° and 84° respectively)
What is the focus range of this camera?
This camera is a fixed-focus model (pan focus), enabling you to shoot with wide angle of view and focus range. Focus range is from 0.2m to ∞ (infinity).
Is this camera equipped with an optical zoom?
No, this camera is not equipped with an optical zoom.
Is the image stabilizer function available?
In movie shooting, you can use the 5-axis electronic image stabilization. Set the electronic image stabilization (IS) in Movie menu to On. Please note that the angle of view will be reduced when the IS is set to On.
Does this camera have internal memory?

How can I reduce distortion?
Set the field of view to 
(Underwater wide-angle) or 
(Underwater flipped wide-angle) before shooting. Although the field of view gets smaller, the distortion will be reduced.
