Buddy Eleazer is an avid adventurer, teacher, and award-winning outdoor photographer whose photography celebrates the African landscape and its rich wildlife. Since Buddy’s first trip to Botswana in 2006, he has enjoyed sharing that passion for African wildlife with others by leading group trips and small workshops into Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Kenya.

Beyond Africa, Buddy leads photo excursions to other locations including Polar Bears in Svalbard, Norway, Yellowstone National Park in Winter and bird photography in Florida.

One of the photo techniques I prefer is the ‘pan action’ shot, where I’m tracking moving animals using a very slow shutter speed. Success depends on being able to maintain focus on the animal eye as it runs. The compact lens size and excellent camera image stabilization makes smooth panning easier.
