Lisa and Tom are photographic artists, mentors, and workshop leaders based in Connecticut who love sharing their passion with others. They view their cameras as passports for creative possibilities. Together, they seek to manipulate light and time, becoming immersed in their subject to the point that the world slows to a whisper, revealing hummingbird shimmer, dew-lit petals, wild birds in motion, woodland wonders, and stories tucked within texture and shadow.  The OM SYSTEM computational technologies empowers them to creatively engage many subjects and genres as they to travel from forests and rookeries to forgotten places, capturing more than just what things look like, but what they feel like.

They love photographing almost every subject, but are especially drawn to nature photography (particularly birds and macro), night photography, live composite computational photography, light painting, ruins & urban exploration, and creative photography. Their specialty is making a photograph out of the everyday, the ordinary, and the overlooked.

As mentors and artists, they guide others to see the unseen, to play with light, and to create with intention and heart. Lisa is a gifted presenter and keynote speaker, offering her insights to camera clubs, conferences, and national audiences with clarity, warmth, and contagious enthusiasm. Tom brings mastery in the field, teaching photographers instinct, patience, and the quiet poetry of the natural world. Through workshops, retreats, one-on-one mentoring, and teaching, Lisa and Tom share a simple truth: creativity blooms when shared—and wonder grows when seen together.
