MEET OLYMPUS PHOTOGRAPHER KIMBERLY ANNE

WHO ARE YOU?

My name is Kimberly Anne and I’m a blogger that covers all things Fashion, Lifestyle, and DIY. B.I live in Orange County, California.

I specialize in Fashion photography. You can find me at your local coffee shop updating my blog or planning out my social media content for the month.

WHEN DID YOU REALIZE YOU WERE A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I started loving photography back in 8th Grade. Back then I had a Blogspot, Tumblr, and LookBook account where I would upload photos I took of myself and my friends using a self timer. I loved Street, Fashion, and Portrait photography. I definitely think my shooting style came from the Lookbook/ Tumblr era.

INTRODUCING OLYMPUS

How did you get started with the Olympus system?

I started using Olympus when I first did a social collaboration with the PEN E-PL9.

What’s your go-to Olympus setup?

My FAVORITE set up is shooting with my E-PL9 with my M.Zuiko 7-14mm PRO lens. It’s the perfect set up to give your photos some distortion which gives fashion photos a more “editorial” feel.

In my bag you'll find me E-PL9, 7-14mm PRO lens, 17mm F1.8 lens, and a ton of SD cards.

How does Olympus help you do your job?

My set up helps me differentiate my content from my fellow blogger pals because of the wide angle photos.

Olympus provides a more compact set up which is so helpful especially whenever I travel and take self portraits.

love doing dress flips/movement shots during photoshoots and my set ups image stabilization helps me get crisp shots every time.

Even though it does come in a smaller more portable set up, quality is very important to me and this set up definitely still provides that.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT BEING A MEMBER OF THE OLYMPUS FAMILY?

That it actually feels like a family. My Olympus contact is there for me 24/7 with any questions I have regarding my gear. I also love speaking to fellow Olympus photographers and learning about their set up. Everyone on the Olympus team is just overall very kind.
