Birds in Flight Shooting Experience

Join us for birds in flight and live falconry demonstrations. During this class you will get up close and personal with flying birds, trained and handled by a professional falconer. The class will include flying demonstrations and ample opportunity to photograph the birds flying predictably with beautiful backgrounds.

Precision Camera University instructor Andrew Fritz will provide a quick class on photographing birds in flight prior to your session to help those interested get up to speed.

Once again, Olympus has stepped up and will have their great micro-43 cameras available for attendees of this experience. All camera brands are welcome, but this will be a great time to try out their gear.

Concepts Covered

• Basic Bird Photography - Birds on the Wing
• Basic Bird Photography - Perching Birds
• Ideal Bird Photography Camera Setup
• Two hours of private, up close bird photography with flying birds

Required Equipment

Loaner Gear: Olympus Cameras will be on hand with loaner equipment for those that want to try our magnificent Micro-43 cameras and professional glass. Just bring your own SD card.

Your Own Gear: Students may use their own equipment, of any brand, as well. Students should have a camera, lens(es), charged battery and empty memory card(s). Since we will be able to be very close to the birds, any lens from portrait length to telephoto is usable. Longer telephoto lenses will be useful for the flying portion of the photography session.

Questions? Send Andrew a note and he'll help you figure out what you need. Andrew@AzulOx.com
