Skateboarding Photography Experience
Join us in photographing amazing local skateboarders in this unique shooting experience! Together with Olympus, come on out to the gorgeous Northeast Metro Park and see what kind of tricks these skaters can pull off. We will have different shooting stations set up, including shooting the bowl with natural light, flash stations to stop the action, and even one-light portraits to show the skaters in their element. Bring you own gear or try out what Olympus has to offer. Whether you're into skateboarding or looking to expand your portfolio/talents, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss!

• Stop-action photography
• Flash for skate photography (off-camera & flash duration)
• Portable Portrait Lighting
• Skate park Compositions

Required Equipment:

Loaner Gear: Olympus Camera will be on hand with loaner equipment for those that want to try their magnificent micro-4/3 cameras and professional glass. Just bring your own SD card.

Your Own Gear:

Students may use their own equipment, of any brand, as well. Students should have a camera, lens(es), charged battery and empty memory card(s). 

Audience:
This is an all-levels class. We will cover the basics you need to know to photograph the skaters.
