Washington Park Arboretum PhotoWalk with Merrill Images

Join Olympus Educators John and Lisa Merrill for a small group PhotoWalk (from 2-5pm) and jumpstart your photography while exploring the beautiful Washington Park Arboretum and Japanese Garden during peak fall color.

Hands-on photo coaching can be transformative.  With two pro photographers offering tips, techniques and encouragement, you’ll have double the expertise to help you master both the technical and artistic sides of photography. We’ll work with light and compose for impact -- intentionally making, versus taking, photos. You’ll learn a lot and create compelling images to treasure and share.

Photographers of all experience levels are welcome, with any camera. To ensure a personalized learning experience, each PhotoWalk is limited to 6 participants. For safety during the pandemic, everyone drives separately, wears a mask and stays at least 6’ apart.

Within 2 weeks of the PhotoWalk, the group will reconvene via Zoom for an hour to show images and give and get supportive feedback. The Photo Review is a fun opportunity to be inspired by what others created at the same locations, and continue your journey as a photographer.
