WHAT HAPPENS TO MY PHOTOS? Photos in the Olympus User Photo Gallery will no longer be viewable in the existing gallery platform after September 5, 2019.
CAN I STILL SUBMIT PHOTOS FOR POINTS OR THE MONTHLY CONTEST? Photo submissions will be accepted through August 31, 2019. Points will be awarded for any photos submitted up until that date based on our current terms and point/submission limits. Contest entries for the #SUMMERSUN19 photo contest will also be accepted through August 31, 2019.
CAN I STILL USE THE POINTS I EARNED FOR PHOTO SUBMISSIONS AFTER THE GALLERY CLOSES? Yes. Your points will be unaffected by this change.
DO YOU HAVE PLANS FOR A NEW USER GALLERY? A new solution for you to share and view user photography is in development. Details will be shared at a later date.
WILL MY PHOTOS MOVE TO THE NEW SOLUTION? This is still under discussion. While it’s possible that a subset of the photos will transition to a new solution at a later date, we cannot guarantee which (if any) photos will be moved. All photos that were submitted to the Olympus User Photo Gallery will continue to be governed by the terms and conditions found here.
WHAT ABOUT MY USER PROFILE, COMMENTS AND FAVORITES? User profile pages and their contents (user biography, “What’s in My Bag” section, Likes/Favorites) will no longer be accessible after September 5, 2019. Comments and favorites will also be inaccessible when the current gallery closes.
HOW CAN I SHARE MY IMAGES WITH OLYMPUS BEFORE YOUR NEW SOLUTION LAUNCHES? We'd still love to see your amazing photography! Please share with us on social by tagging your photos with @getolympus or #getolympus.
