A VISIONARY PARNERSHIP
In 2016, Wilderness Safaris and OM SYSTEM joined forces to use their shared passion for wildlife photography to ensure the ongoing conservation of Africa’s remote wilderness areas. Funds raised through the partnership have supported Wilderness Safaris’ non-profit Children in the Wilderness (CITW), aimed at facilitating conservation through leadership development and the education of children in Africa.
As a result of the partnership, Wilderness Safaris has been able to enhance the photographic skills of its guides and guests with training on best-in-class equipment and in-depth education. Wilderness has also hosted several OM System Ambassadors on photographic journeys to some of the most dynamic and iconic landscapes in the world. Now, Wilderness Safaris and OM SYSTEM is launching an unforgettable photographic safari into Botswana's most iconic wildlife destinations, with award-winning wildlife photographer and OM Ambassador Tesni Ward. Wilderness Safari's Africa in Focus photo competition, in partnership with OM System, is back. Entries open on August 1, 2022 and will close on September 15, 2022. All images taken anywhere on the African continent are eligible for submission.
This year our winners will share in exceptional prizes to the value of $80,000 USD.
