Horses and Icons of the Wild West in Winter with Workshop Partner Eric Rick
Spend a week photographing the western way of life while staying on a luxurious working ranch with Olympus Workshop Partner Eric Rock. This workshop is for beginners as well as professionals wanting to photograph horse drives and cowboy culture with the snow-capped Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming as a backdrop. Winter light and brilliant landscapes set the scene for two photoshoots each day utilizing the ranch stock and rugged men and women who handle them.
This workshop will focus on helping photographers capture the action of cowboys and buckaroos working the herd and moving livestock over the western landscape. We will learn how to photograph all aspects of cowboy life in winter. Photogenic ranch hands provide an opportunity to learn how to work with light for classic western portraiture.
