This is a chance to photograph Yellowstone National Park at the least crowded and most spectacular time of year. Winter blankets the landscape with a mantle of snow and ice crystals. Steam from thermal basins give wildlife like bison and elk a mystic back drop for dynamic compositions.
While traveling through the interior of the park via privately chartered snow coach, learn the best techniques for shooting in cold temperatures and making the best exposures in snowy environments. Tips on how to safely use animal behavior for capturing the best images of the parks wildlife will also be shared.
