"For me, macro photography was a portal to a smaller world which the planet depends on. This gave me a greater appreciation for the little guys such as insects and spiders, because without them the planet wouldn't survive. We having flying insects that pollinate the crops that we eat, we have spiders that get rid of unwanted pests like mosquitos and horseflies and tiny springtails and woodlouse that keep healthy soil and breakdown rotting trees and bark. These guys work in the background beneath our feet and with my OM system camera gear, I can explore these diverse creatures and show them at life size, so we can get a better understanding towards them. Arthropods get a bad reputation and I want to change people's perspective on them, through my photography"

"Nature to me embodies beauty, harmony, and resilience. Birds, in particular, symbolise freedom and grace in the wild. Bird photography lets me freeze fleeting moments, capturing their colours, patterns, and behaviours. Through the lens, I connect intimately with nature, finding inspiration and a sense of responsibility to cherish and protect our natural world."

"Nature has the power to make you feel so small, yet so immersed and comforted in its beauty. When I’m out photographing, I try to take the time to be aware of my surroundings, noticing the sounds, textures, or elements and how they’re impacting the scene. I like to walk away not only with images, but experiences, like feeling the salty air on my face after it’s whipped up ocean swells, listening as birdsong blends with rustling leaves from a gentle breeze, or watching as sand swirls across dunes and storm clouds are shaped over mountain peaks by gusty conditions."

"One of my favorite elements in nature is the moon. There is something mysterious and magic with it and I love all its different phases, specially the full moon. Since it only happens once a month and you have to have clear skies, it becomes both challenging and so much fun to try capture it in different ways each month. Last month I woke up early to catch the beautiful moonset over the sea while trying to catch the seagulls flying in front of the moon."
