Can I use this camera for live streaming?
No, this camera is not equipped with the live streaming feature.
The camera starts shooting movies when I turn on the camera. Why?
The camera starts shooting movies when you turn on the camera in the following condition: when Quick Capture is set to On in VIDEO (Movie) shooting mode.
Can I use the chapter information that are set during movie shooting in any purpose other than viewing movies on the camera?
No, you cannot. The chapter information can be utilized only in movie playback on the camera. (It is also usable when the camera is connected to a TV.) The chapter information is not available on the OI.Track application.
The tripod is filmed unintentionally when attached to the camera. What should I do?
The tripod might appear in your images because this camera has a wide field of view. You may avoid this by attaching the bundled steady grip to your camera, and then attaching the tripod to the tripod socket on the bottom of the steady grip.
Can I view the route of GPS logging in OLYMPUS Viewer 3?
Yes, you can import the GPS logging data using the OLYMPUS Viewer 3 and display the route and images on a map. While still images are placed on the map automatically, the movies should be placed manually.
How do I acquire and update the GPS assist data?
The GPS assist data can be acquired or updated using the OI.Track (smartphone application) or OLYMPUS A-GPS Utility (computer software).
Can I record the logging data when the camera is turned off?
No, the logging data is not recorded when the camera is turned off, regardless of the LOG setting.
Can I transfer images to my computer via Wi-Fi?
No, you cannot transfer images to your computer.
Can I do the shooting while placing the camera in the tracking holder CSCH-125?
No, you cannot do the shooting while placing the camera in the CSCH-125. Acquiring the GPS logging data is possible.
UPDATING YOUR FIRMWARE – READ THIS FIRST!
Please carefully follow the directions when updating your lens or camera firmware and keep in mind the following:
· Firmware updates can take several minutes or longer to complete. Do not disconnect the USB cable during the update process.
Once you see "OK" on the rear monitor, it is safe to disconnect the cable.
